Responding To Medical Inquiry Request
To respond to a Medical Inquiry Request, a supporting document must be included. This can be done by either:
- Uploading a file, or
- Attaching a document using the Document Search feature
Sending the Response Email
To send the response email:
- Select the fourth icon in the top action bar (the envelope icon)
- This will initiate the Request Fulfillment Email process
- Complete and send the email to fulfill the request

Request Fulfillment – Pop-Up Window
Once the Fulfill Request button is selected, the fulfillment pop-up window will appear.
This window contains key information automatically populated from the case, allowing you to review and complete the response before sending.

Request Fulfillment – Key Elements
Starting from the top left and moving downward, the fulfillment window includes the following key elements:

Send Response Button:
Sends the completed response email to the inquirer

Template Selection:
Dropdown menu allowing you to select and adjust the email template based on the intended audience

Inquirer’s Email:
Automatically populated from the case

Email Subject (with Case ID):
Automatically generated using case information, including the Case ID for reference

Selected Attachment:
Displays the attached document as a hyperlink within the email template, including the link expiration date as configured at the project level
Finalizing and Sending the Response
Before sending the email:
- Review all draft content carefully
- Verify the inquirer’s contact details
- Make any necessary adjustments
Once ready, click the Send Response button.
After sending:
- You will be returned to the previous screen
- The case information will appear greyed out and become non-editable for this request
Response Record
A timestamped record of the response will appear at the bottom of the screen, below the Document Search section, labeled:
“Fulfill Request Email References” (as shown in the image below)
