How To Search For Documents
Before performing a document search within a Medical Inquiry Request, certain fields must be completed to ensure the system returns relevant and approved documents.
Details section:
- Country
- Requestor Type
Subcase section:
- Product

Selecting Category and Topic further refines the list of documents, narrowing the results to those most relevant to your Medical Inquiry request.
If Category and Topic are left blank, a broader range of documents will be available.
When a document is selected and uploaded as a response, the Category and Topic fields are automatically populated based on the document’s metadata.
Once all required Medical Inquiry fields for document search have been completed, you can perform a document search using the free-text functionality of the Document Search field. Start typing a keyword, and the system will display available documents that correspond to the selected fields, providing relevant response documents for the case.

After documents matching the entered keyword are found, the user may preview a document before selecting it. To do so, click the eye icon within a square to open the document preview window. To expand the preview to full screen, click the icon with two diagonal arrows.

To add the document as a response, select the checkbox on the left side and then click the Upload “✓” button at the bottom right of the screen. Once uploaded, the document will be available to send to the inquirer.

The user can still make additional selections before proceeding to fulfilment. A summary of the available functions is provided below:

- Expansion Arrow: Allows the user to see the full list of selected documents
- Metadata Summary: Shows a summary of metadata information from the Document ID in the Content Module
- Download Document: Allows the user to download the document
- Preview Document: Opens the Preview Document window
