How To Add New Product
To create a new product in the Products module, click the “+ Product” button (A.New Product). This will open the Product Creation Form, where you can begin filling out the product details.
The user will need to include all the metadata on the product Information presented below in the order that they appear:
- Product Name (Marketed Product Name)
- Full Product Name (Marketed Product Name with formulation identifiers i.e. 10mg)
- Generic Products (active ingredients/generic product name)
- Organization (Sponsor(s) responsible for marketed product)
- Product Profile URL (link to the marketed product website)
- Label URL (link to the local label website i.e. Health Authority or company label)
For the entries ‘Product Profile URL’ and ‘Label URL’ please omit using www in the link and use the following format example when copying any links
‘Product Profile URL’ and ‘Label URL’ are optional metadata entries and a Product can still be created without having any active links.
Once all the metadata have been entered, press the Save Button (C. Save Button) to save your entry. Remember that necessary permissions are required for the user to Save a new Product entry.
