How To Create a Task

To create a new manual task, the following mandatory fields must be completed in the task form:

  • Title – A concise and descriptive name of the task that clearly indicates its purpose or objective.
  • Status – The current state of the task within its lifecycle (e.g., Open, In Progress, Done).
  • Priority – The level of importance or urgency assigned to the task, which helps determine the order in which it should be addressed (e.g., Low, Medium, High).

To further define a task, the following additional fields can be completed:

  • SubType – A more specific classification of the task that provides additional context beyond the main task type. This field is displayed only if it has been configured in the project settings and selection options have been defined.

  • Due Date – The date by which the task is expected to be completed.
  • Description – Detailed information about the task, including relevant instructions, context, or requirements.
