Escalating Medical Inquiry Request

if an inquiry needs to be escalated to another department, the user can use the function "Send Case Email" from the top of the Medical Inquiry Request Panel to send  an abbreviated case snapshot of the case and request guidance. The pictures below show the details:


After the send case email button has been selected. The user will be directed to the  pop-up window with the following features explained below: 

  1. Send Escalation Email Button: Pressing this button will send out the escalation email to the relevant department 
  2. Template Selection: Dropdown selection of available templates 
  3. Escalation Email: Assigned email for escalations  
  4. Escalation Subject with Case ID:  Reference for correspondence 
  5. Escalation Email Body: Abbreviated case summary with information to assist the escalation department compile a response or provide guidance 

After the email is send out a timestamped record of the escalated email will appear at the bottom of the screen below the content selection information of the Document Search, labelled Case Email References as per picture below.
