Content Module Introduction

The fourth module ‘Content’ can easily be accessed by the left module bar at any time by clicking on the icon labelled Content.

Once the Content Module has been selected you will switch to the Content Module screen for the active Project. An example of the user screen along with key functions are presented below.

  1. Free Text Search Bar: Allows the user to search the documents’ list using free text. 
  2. Free Text Search Rules: There are 3 Rules that can assist your free text search -Text, Title and Number- in order to specify your search  
  3. Filter Panel Expansion: By clicking on the Filters button, the filtering section expands 
  4. Generative AI Functions: AI assisted document creation for Medical Information Responses based on components and publications. 
  5. New Document Button: Creates a new Document entry in the project  
  6. Documents’ List: List of available documents for the active project with key information. The List is separated with columns with the following information: 
  • Name of the Document 
  • Version (current version) 
  • Products (related marketed products) 
  • Generic Products (related active ingredients) 
  • Approved expires at (for approved documents this is the expiration date of the document) 
  • Status of the Document: Draft, In Review, Approved, Retired 
  • Document Type includes all main document categories such as Medical Information documents, Enclosures, Scientific Journals etc. 
  • Document Subtype: List of Subtypes linked to the selected document type such as Written Response, Verbal Response, Prescribing Information etc 
  • Classification: It is a third layer of information available to some document subtypes such as Global Response, Local Response and Custom Response etc 
  1. Documents Per Page: Adjust how many documents you would like to see on the list of your screen per page 

By Selecting the filters arrow (C. Filter Panel Expansion button) you can see a list of available filters that tailor your documents’ list to your needs.

The available filters are listed below for your convenience. Please note that filters as well as any meta-data presented in this guide are configurable and may differ between projects.  


Available Filtering Options 

There are three main categories of filters depending on selection criteria: 

  • Multiple Selections (Multi Selections): Multiple filters can simultaneously be selected from the drop down lists 
  • Categories: Select multiple content Categories 
  • Countries: Select Country designated content (including Global selection) 
  • Languages: Select content Languages 
  • Requestor Classes: Select the audience which the content is intended for 
  • Statuses: Select the current content status  
  • Study Types: Select information based on study design (Particularly useful with literature searches) 
  • Therapeutic Areas: Select content criteria based on the therapy area or particular disease 

  • Chain Selections : Chain Selections are filters which are applied in sequence based on the available metadata to further specify documents and assist the user to identify quickly what they are looking for 
  • Type à Subtype à Classification: These filter criteria options are based on the selection of the initial drop down list and more options become available based on the selection. For example,  by selecting Medical Information as a Type filter, will allow you to select Verbal Response or Written Response as a filter subtype. Classification will further allow you to select global or local response content.  
  • Category à Topics: These filters are linked with the document metadata ‘Response details’ section. Each Document category has specific topics as subcategories. An example is shown below: 

Category:  By selecting “Dosage and Administration”, the user can select among a wider more specific list of topics assigned to that category.

Dose: Low dose 

Dose: Multiple dose 

Dose: Other 

Injection technique 


  • Single Selections: Single selections are single filtering options with single choice based on the drop down list 
  • Contributor: Allows to filter the documents based on ownership 
  • Product: Allows to filter the documents based on Product Name 


Selected filtering options and removing filters à Suggest to move it in the inquiries section and adjust from there.  


Creating a New Document 

By clicking E.New Document button (+Document), a new document pop-up window will appear. Below there is an explanation of the New Document window functions:

  1. Open Documents Tab: All open documents appear on the top of the screen and the user can switch between different documents. 
  2. Minimise Button: Allows the user to minimise the window, which will remain active and easily accessible from the previous screen. 
  3. Active Project: States the active Project Name where the document will be stored  
  4. Link Documents button: Allows the user to create a link between documents which can be used Externally (Attachments) or Internally for reference purposes only (References) 
  5. Document Metadata Tabs: There are 3 Different groups of information where metadata is stored grouped by relevance: General, Product Details, Response Details 
  6. Example of Metadata Fields: This is an example of the available Metadata Fields which can be Freetext, Dropdown Selection or Multiple selection fields. 
  7. Upload File button: Allows the user to upload a .docx file directly from their own desktop 
  8. Save File Button: Becomes enabled (vivid colour) when the metadata of the Document have been completed. The Save button remains greyed out until all Metadata fields have been populated.
