How To Bulk Reassign Cases

Bulk Reassignment

To support efficient workload management, En3 provides a bulk reassignment feature. This functionality allows users with the appropriate permissions to select multiple cases or tasks and reassign them to another user within the same project.

Reassigning Cases and Tasks

To begin reassigning items:

  1. Select the cases or tasks you want to reassign by checking the boxes next to each item
  2. Once selected, choose the reassignment option (if available in your interface)
  3. Select the user you want to assign the items to
  4. Confirm the reassignment

This feature helps streamline workload distribution and ensures timely handling of cases and tasks across your team.

To select or unselect all cases on the current page, click the checkbox located in the top-left corner of the table.


Once the case selection is complete, the bulk reassignment panel appears at the bottom of the screen. The reassignment panel consists of the following main components:

  • Selected Cases And Tasks: A button displaying the total number of selected cases and tasks. Clicking this button opens a list of the selected items. Each case or task in the list can be opened by clicking on it, or removed from the selection by clicking the “X” icon next to it.
  • Change Assignee: A dropdown menu that allows the user to select a project member to whom the selected cases and tasks will be reassigned.
  • Actions:  The reassignment panel includes the following actions:
    • Confirm Reassignment (✔): Confirms and applies the reassignment of the selected cases and tasks.
    • Cancel Reassignment: Closes the panel without applying any changes.

To reassign tasks in addition to cases, navigate to the Tasks module, select the desired tasks from the table, and click the “✔” button to initiate reassignment.
